Our Aylesbury duck hatching eggs are now available to order, with the first fresh batches expected to start posting from April 2026. As ever, eggs are collected to order from our well-established Aylesbury breeding group. If the ducks come into lay a little earlier — and they often do after a mild winter — we’ll get in touch so you can enjoy an earlier dispatch.
Each parcel is packed with real care: eggs sit safely in polystyrene protective boxes, placed inside sturdy cardboard outers, and sent via tracked UK delivery. Local collection is always welcome and typically offers the best hatch outcomes. Fertility averages around 80% here, and posted hatch success of around 50% is completely normal for shipped duck eggs.
If this is your first time hatching waterfowl, you can add our printed or digital Hatching Egg Guide to your basket. It covers incubation humidity (especially important for duck breeds), cooling periods, candling tips, and brooder setup. A quick breeder’s tip: when your eggs arrive, let them rest for 24 hours before setting them in the incubator so the air cells can settle after transit.
We release Aylesbury eggs in small weekly quantities to maintain freshness and good rotation. Early reservations are prioritised. If you're exploring other duck breeds for a mixed hatch, we also keep Runner Ducks, Muscovy Ducks, and mixed-breed ducks seasonally — worth checking when placing your order.
Why Hatch Aylesbury Ducks?
Aylesburies are the classic British table duck — large, snow-white, and wonderfully calm. They grow quickly, produce sizeable white eggs, and have placid, friendly temperaments that suit smallholdings and family setups alike. Whether you’re raising for utility or simply want a handsome, gentle duck in the garden, Aylesburies are a rewarding breed to hatch and rear
