Our Sablepoot point-of-lay (POL) hens are available to reserve now, but will not be available in stock until 7th June to collect. These stunning bantams, also known as Booted Bantams, are a true delight, combining unique feathered legs with gentle temperaments. These hens are fully vaccinated and ready to join your other small bantams in a gentle flock. They will typically begin laying their small, creamy eggs at around 24 weeks of age.

For a smoother transition when bringing new hens home, we highly recommend getting a poultry drink, something similar to this, (available on Amazon - or your local pet shop), when purchasing pure-breed chickens. Moving to a new home and flock can be stressful, and using a drink like this can make a real difference in helping them settle in by giving them a boost of energy and vitamins.

Delivery & Collections

All livestock, including chickens, turkeys, quails, and rabbits have to be collected in person. We do not offer delivery on ANY livestock.

We DO offer delivery on all of our hatching eggs, these are sent by Royal Mail.
