Available NOW, the Farm Ranger POL hen is a firm favourite for a laying flock, we throughly recommend one of these ladies to go into every flock. They don't argue with other ladies, they are keen and friendly, and is the most recognisable chicken in the farmyard. Also known as an ISA Brown or Lohman, this chicken is by far the most docile and friendliest of all the flock birds. they are also the most prolific egg layers, which is why the Farm Ranger also known as the Red Ranger, is the chicken of choice is the commercial egg laying flocks as they are just so placid. Not only that, you can expect to get up to 320 eggs per year. These ladies rarely stop laying, even in the darker winter months - an essential egg laying chickens for every garden flock.

Egg colour is a very standard Light Brown, and can be seen in the photo below. 

You can expect approx. 320+ eggs per year. 

Your hen may start to lay at around 18-20 weeks old, she will be laying at 50% capacity by the time she is 22 weeks old, and will be at full laying capacity at around 30 weeks old.
