Important Information About Turkey Poults

Turkey poults are considerably more delicate than chicks, ducklings or goslings, particularly during the first few weeks of life. They require correct brooding temperatures, specialist feed, dry accommodation and close daily monitoring.

For this reason, turkey poults are not covered by our standard 14-day poultry warranty.

Once poults leave our premises, responsibility for their care, management and survival passes entirely to the purchaser. No refunds, replacements or guarantees can be offered for losses occurring after collection.

Whilst we take every care to ensure poults leave us healthy and thriving, factors such as brooder temperature, ventilation, feed, water provision, weather conditions and general husbandry all have a significant impact on outcomes once birds arrive at their new home.

Turkey poults are often described by experienced keepers as birds that can "live to die" if husbandry is not correct. Please only order turkey poults if you are confident that you have suitable facilities, appropriate feed and the time required to care for them properly.

All Bronze turkey poults are supplied unsexed as standard.

Customers wishing to guarantee female birds may do so for an additional £5 per bird, subject to availability.

Guaranteed females are popular with customers wanting smaller Christmas table birds, so we recommend requesting these as early as possible.
