Product Description

Our Chamois Poland point-of-lay (POL) hens are now available to reserve. With their creamy white and soft golden crests, these hens are as unique as they are elegant. Polands require specific care and are best suited to keepers who can provide a dedicated flock or introduce them slowly over several weeks or months, these fully vaccinated hens will typically begin laying small to medium white eggs at around 24 weeks.

For a smoother transition when bringing new hens home, we highly recommend getting a poultry drink, something similar to this, (available on Amazon - or your local pet shop), when purchasing pure-breed chickens. Moving to a new home and flock can be stressful, and using a drink like this can make a real difference in helping them settle in by giving them a boost of energy and vitamins.
