If you’re looking to buy Muscovy duck hatching eggs this coming season, we’re now taking reservations for spring 2026. You can order today to secure your spot, with dispatches due to start around the end of February, once our Muscovy ducks are laying again. If our Muscovies start to lay eggs earlier, we’ll get in touch so your order can be sent out sooner.
We post eggs UK-wide via tracked delivery, and every one is carefully packed in shaped polystyrene boxes inside a strong cardboard outer. This gives good protection from both knocks and temperature changes while in transit. We’ve been hatching and posting eggs for years, and this method keeps them safe and consistent. Collection is always welcome if you’re local — it usually gives the best hatch results.
Fertility from our Muscovy flocks averages around 80%, with posted hatch rates usually around 50%, which is typical. You can also add our Hatching Egg Guide to your basket — available as a digital download or printed version — if you’d like a bit of extra advice on storage and incubation. We recommend letting eggs rest for 24 hours before setting so the air cells can settle.
We also hatch other duck breeds, including Runner, Aylesbury, and Mixed Breed Ducks, so if you’re looking to mix your hatch or try something new, there’s usually a bit of variety available. Quantities are limited each week once laying starts, so early reservations are always best.
About Muscovy Ducks:
Muscovies are quiet, calm ducks that are excellent for smallholdings and gardens. They don’t quack like other ducks — instead they make gentle hissing sounds — and they’re fantastic natural mothers. Muscovies are hardy, great foragers, and produce large, rich eggs. If you’re after a low-noise, self-sufficient breed with character, these are a brilliant choice to hatch.
